Ingredients

  • 3 Haas avocados, pitted and cut into ½ in. cubes
  • ½ small red onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime (2 tbsp)
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeds removed and finely chopped OR 1½ chopped Banana peppers, prepared the same way
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional Additions: 1 large ripe tomato, chopped. 1 garlic clove, minced. ½ teaspoon ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Mash 2 of the avocados until they are relatively smooth using a fork in a medium bowl.
  2. Fold the cubed avocado and the remaining ingredients into the mashed avocado. Mix well.
